radiohead writes film music

radiohead will write and record material for the upcoming animated film a scanner darkly, directed by richard linklater, based on philip k. dick's cult sci-fi book. radiohead will not be responsible for the entire score, but official sources say the film will contain music by radiohead, and a new track from radiohead's singer thom yorke's solo debut (well, that's news!). the films stars keanu reeves, woody harrelson and winona ryder. in theaters on july 7th.
