shigeru miyamoto gets knighted
shigeru miyamoto, the man who invented nintendo's greatest mascotte mario, will be knighted into the french order of arts and literature on march 13th. his title will be chevalier (french for knight). miyamoto also invented other game classics as donkey kong and zelda.
on the same day two other leading men in the gaming industry will be knighted into the same order: michael ancel (remember beyond good and evil and his recent king kong) and frederick raynal (little big adventure 1 and 2 en time commando).
