superman film will have comic book prequels

the upcoming superman returns film will have four comic book prequels. director bryan singer (remember the usual suspects), and screenwriters dan harris and michael dougherty have written the plot for the comic book prequels, which dc comics will publish (starting in june). time to get a comic book subscription!
