the stooges reform

iggy pop gives his solo career a little rest and has reformed the stooges. the legendary punkers' last album dates from 1973. now the band is working on a new album with steve albini (big black, shellac) and jack white (white stripes, raconteurs). a tour is being planned, with a first gig at the nightmare before christmas festival in london in december 2006.
