actor viggo mortensen seems to like his a history of violence cooperation with director david cronenberg (also: scanners, the fly, naked lunch, crash, existenz). he's teaming up with the canadian filmmaker again, for his thriller eastern promises, about a london nurse who investigates the identity of a russian girl who died during childbirth. mortensen won't play the nurse, but some mystery man caught up in the russian maffia.
